Ancient Technologies is actually Code4Software entering the new virtual world referred to as 'The Metaverse'. Leveraging its strength in video game design and software development, Code4Software embarked to create some of the most powerful infrastructure software necessary for virtual world commerce (V-Commerce), and is on its way to achieving this goal.  Ancient Technologies is active in the virtual world Second Life and is available for professional enterprise level engagements.

The Metaverse represents a new frontier in software development.  Now the skills of video game developer and enterprise developer need to be mixed, something not commonly found among today's practitioners.  Recognizing the unique position that Code4Software was in by having Video Game, Enterprise Software, and E-commerce experience, how could this seemingly perfect position be leveraged most fully?

By devoting substantial amounts of time and energy to create a set of foundation technologies, Ancient Technologies achieved the goal to be a primer provider of V-Commerce technology in Second Life.

AdSoft, one of the largest Multi-terminal Multi-simulator (server) advertising networks in Second Life also runs on Ancient Technologies infrastructure.
